Shepherd's Hut Isle of Wight – Willow at Warren Hill Camp
Shepherd's Hut Isle of Wight – Willow at Warren Hill Camp
A cosy countryside stay on the Isle of Wight
Looking for a shepherd's hut on the Isle of Wight where you can slow down, switch off and enjoy the countryside?
Willow is our cosy shepherd's hut at Warren Hill Camp, a small family-run glamping site set on a former dairy farm on the south side of the Isle of Wight.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside within the Isle of Wight National Landscape, Willow gives you the outdoor feel of glamping with an extra layer of comfort and shelter — perfect for spring and autumn escapes as well as summer stays.
Once our bell tents are packed away for the season, Willow becomes the only accommodation at Warren Hill Camp. That means our shepherd's hut guests have exclusive use of the campsite and its shared facilities — no queues for the showers, no sharing the Rabbit Room and plenty of peaceful outdoor space to enjoy.

Meet Willow
Willow sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children, and is ideal for couples, small families or anyone who likes the idea of glamping but would prefer four solid walls around them!
Inside you'll find a comfortable king-size bed plus bunk beds for the children, with bedding ready for your arrival.
Unlike our bell tents, Willow also has its own well-equipped kitchen, so you can make breakfast, cook an evening meal or simply put the kettle on without having to step outside.
The kitchen includes a sink, fridge/freezer, electric hob, air fryer, toaster and kettle.
Outside, you'll have space to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, along with a BBQ and use of our fire pits — one beside the pond and another tucked away in the woods.

The Isle of Wight isn't just a summer destination. Spring and autumn are some of our favourite times at Warren Hill Camp. The roads and beaches are quieter, the countryside changes colour and you can spend the day walking, cycling or exploring before returning to the comfort of Willow.
If you love being outdoors but aren't quite as enthusiastic about sleeping under canvas when the evenings become cooler, Willow is a great alternative to our bell tents.
Wake up surrounded by countryside, make breakfast in your own kitchen, head out for the day and return in the evening to light the fire pit and watch the sun disappear across the fields.
Sometimes the quieter months are when the Island is at its best.
Warren Hill Camp is ideally placed for exploring the quieter, wilder side of the Isle of Wight.
Some of our favourite walks and cycle routes are close by, while the spectacular south-west coastline is only a short drive away.
Compton Bay is our favourite local beach, with a huge stretch of sand, dramatic cliffs and some fantastic sunsets. It's also popular with fossil hunters, walkers and surfers — particularly outside the main summer season.
Head further west and you'll find Freshwater Bay, Tennyson Down, Alum Bay and The Needles, while Ventnor and the Undercliff are within easy reach in the opposite direction.
There is plenty to explore, whether you're coming for walking, cycling, photography, beaches or simply a couple of peaceful days away.
Explore things to do on the Isle of Wight
Warren Hill Camp isn't a large holiday park.
We deliberately keep the site small, with just our shepherd's hut, bell tents and luxury yurt-style tents spread around the site.
That means more space, fewer people and a relaxed atmosphere.
There's plenty of room to wander, sit outside, enjoy the sunsets or spend an evening around the fire pit.
We also have our shared Rabbit Room and clean shower and toilet facilities available to guests.
Willow works particularly well as a countryside escape for two.
You can spend the day walking the coast, exploring the Island or finding a good pub before returning to your own little hut for the evening.
But we've designed Willow with families in mind too.
The king-size bed and separate bunk beds mean two adults and two children can stay comfortably without having to convert seating into beds every night.
For families wanting the fun of a glamping holiday with a little more protection from the Isle of Wight weather, Willow is a great option.
Getting here is part of the adventure.
The Isle of Wight is reached by ferry from the mainland, with vehicle crossings from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington.
When you book your stay directly with Warren Hill Camp, we can also provide access to our discounted ferry rates, helping to make the journey to the Island a little cheaper.
Once you're here, you're never particularly far from anywhere — but Warren Hill Camp feels wonderfully tucked away from the busier parts of the Island.
Whether you're planning a summer holiday, a quiet autumn weekend or a spring escape to the Isle of Wight, Willow gives you the chance to enjoy the Warren Hill Camp experience without sleeping under canvas.
Come and explore the Island, breathe some fresh air, watch the sunset and enjoy a few days at a slower pace.
